- A M Miller Insulations formed in 1965
- Acquired by Sheffield Insulations in 1982
- Pattison Insulations acquired in 1988 and the two companies merged to form Miller
Pattison Ltd

Training and Development
Miller Pattison has a vested interest in ensuring that the skills and knowledge
of employees are sufficiently positioned to enable the Company to meet both short
and long-term business objectives. The Company is keen to assist all employees,
through their line managers, to identify appropriate education and training activities
and, where appropriate, to embark on studies that will be mutually beneficial.
With this in mind, Miller Pattison have invested in a unique training facility,
designed to ensure employees have the most up to date product knowledge, skills
and qualifications, ensuring their continued success and personal development. In
addition to the National Training Centre, other tools utilised to aid personal development
include specialist training, National Vocational Qualifications and distance learning
courses.
