Cavity Wall Insulation
We are installers of a range of cavity wall insulation systems. All products
are installed to the British Board of Agrément standards and are the leading
cavity wall insulation system on the market. Each installation team is entirely
self-sufficient and requires no further services or involvement of the client.
Most
cavity wall installations are completed within hours, and all with no inconvenience
to other occupants or contrators. All of the products are water repellent,
non-toxic, carry a guarantee and are suitable for use in all areas of the
United Kingdom. With experienced, fully trained, carefully supervised
cavity wall insulation installers, we are able to provide a highly effective and trouble- free service. |

We are fully approved by the manufacturers to install
both
Rockwool Energysaver and Knauf Superfil Cavity Wall Insulation.
The product can be injected into the cavity via the inner
leaf and
offers very impressive thermal performance. The material
is injected
through small 26mm or 22mm holes prior to boarding and
plastering. Should external drilling be required, (i.e.
refurbishment of
an existing property), then the holes are drilled between
the corners
of the bricks to a precise approved drilling pattern with
the mortar
replaced and colour matched on completion.
Cavity Wall Insulation Procedures
Mineral cavity wall
insulation injected into the cavity eliminates the requirements for
expensive lightweight or insulated blockwork and can offer considerable
cost savings over other techniques. In newly constructed buildings
the cavity wall insulation is often installed through the inner leaf
prior to plastering or dry lining. Materials and workmanship are fully
guaranteed.
Cavity Wall Insulation - New Houses
The service that
we offer is a true supply and fix installation using materials ex-stock
from our own local depots. Fitting is carried out by our own teams
and the client can be confident that both the materials and labour elements
of the service are guaranteed. This can be in stark contrast to the
technique whereby labour only bricklayers build in insulation slabs
as building progresses. In these circumstances the house builder may
be faced with unforeseen costs when he discovers that, although a
manufacturer may stand by its product, the labour element remains
the builders' responsibility. Building regulations require specific
U values to be achieved.
